Abstract:Introduction: Teaching is considered a highly stressful occupation. Burnout is a negative affective response occurring as a result of chronic work stress. Job satisfaction is the quality, state to level of satisfaction, which is the result of various interests and attitudes of a person toward the job.
Procedure: Selection of Subject-252 Subjects out of of 10 (ten) faculties of total 593 (five hundred ninety three) Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of India were randomly selected for the study. Selection of variables- Job Satisfaction was selected as criterion variables for the study. The data was collected with the help of Standard Questionnaire. The questionnaire was send to different faculties of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of India. The Collected data was analyzed and interpreted on the objectives of the study with the help of statistical techniques like mean, S.D., Percentile and T. ratio in order to compare the scores of job satisfaction of teachers of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of India.
Result and conclusion of the study: Asa result it was found that Most of the teachers of Navodaya Vidyalaya are not satisfied with their working in NVS. Physical Education teachers have more work load than others, so they are less satisfied than others.
